Thank you to all students, staff and parents who came out for a SAFE energizing community event!

PTA along with a generous donation from realtors Sara Mosser and Meredith Parks provided 498 ice cream treats for free!

TEACHER AND STAFF SUPPLEMENTAL LEARNING FUND GRANTS

This year in collaboration with Dectatur Education Foundation (DEF) your RMS PTA has awarded OVER $9000 of supplemental funding for creative enrichment opportunities to our teachers and staff! We received 16 applications for all grades and most subjects including ELA, science, math, language, connections, equity, clubs and student emotional health. Requests ranged from $100-$1000


Examples include: support of Enrichment Science Book Club, FLAG (German membership club) , Summer Books for struggling readers, RMS Greenhouse, a partnership with Making Spaces with Decatur Makers, Membership for Spanish Breakout Rooms, Virtual Girl's Super Power Book Adventure Club, Virtual reality googles for VR Field Trips, Science club dissection materials, Groundwater Pollution Model for 6th grade Earth Science, A Discussion with Minni Jean Brown-Trickey (of the Little Rock 9), Student Engagement & Mental Health Support Fund, Social Thinking Materials, We can succeed together materials...
